Great video! I have a question tough... Currently, for L1 data QC, DJI Terra allows importing and classifying GCPs as "check points", and measures the point cloud altitude error around those points. However, if i leave the gcps classified as "control points", terra will constrain the point cloud, altering the raw data altitude. Is this recommended for lidar point clouds? I would think not, but I am not sure Thank you!

If you've surveyed those GCPS from the same base station and if the drone has captured the data by getting corrections from the same base station, why wouldn't the GCPs lineup relatively close to begin with?

I'm in the U.K. Recently retired and I am getting a DJI mini three. Apart from the enjoyment of the hobby I'm thinking of, hopefully, selling some of my footage. What I was thinking of is visiting some local tourist sights/businesses, I live in Devon which is a very tourist reliant area with camp sites and old houses etc and taking some footage. Then, assuming the footage is good enough, might need a little practice :-) , I thought of approaching the business to see if they were interested in the, already shot, footage. Is this a good way to start out? would I add the footage to my website with a watermark over it? which I would remove if it was purchased. Would I do a reduced deal with them if they allow me to put a small watermark of my contact details at the bottom of the footage? I would value your opinion on what is acceptable. Brilliant video by the way, very informative.

what about battery hot swop? when you land to change the battery and you need to keep inspecting, will or can it continue on or start all over again?

Just putting it out their, but I've seen the massive affect that drones are having on the war in Ukraine. I've always wondered how easy it would be for a Skeet shooter to shoot a drone out of the air. I've seen plenty of video's Russian soldiers scattering/taking cover of an overhead drone so it is obviously visible. I know this sounds darft but how affective do you think a simple semi-auto shotgun firing bird shot would be as a cheap anti drone measure?

Thanks, has anyone had a problem with the range finder intermittent. It displays, object too close, no matter the distance. DJI says to make sure the factory tape cover was removed. I did, but is there anything else on the laser cover to be removed. It is very clean. Didn’t want to try and remove anything that shouldn’t be pulled at or removed. Please let me know.
